Due to the nature of the subjects listed in the History & Royalty category, the sites listed here are not so much for fans of a subject as they are for those interested in the historical study of a subject. Please keep this in mind as you browse and come across subjects that to some people are controversial or offensive. People and events throughout history have been painful to one group or another, but history is not always pretty, and there are those who are passionately devoted to the study of it, even the dark parts. We at The Fanlistings Network respect this, and feel that as long as the fanlistings are created in the spirit of historical study and interest and do not promote hate, illegal activity, or other values contrary to the spirit of the network, then they will be allowed.

It should be noted that although these fanlistings are listed at TFL, TFL does not endorse the fanlistings for these subjects or the subjects themselves. Fanlisting content is the responsibility of the fanlisting owner(s). Fanlistings in the History and Royalty category are regularly checked to ensure that controversial fanlistings are for the 'study of' the subjects, rather than for the subject themselves. If you have any concerns, please contact the TFL senior staff.

Did You Know?

Fanlistings need to be updated at least once every two months. If no one joins during that time period, all you need to do is add a little notice to your fanlisting which states that no one is joining. Make sure you date that notice so we can see that you've checked the site, but there have been no additional members. This will also let visitors know that the site is being maintained.
