Apply
General TFL Guidelines
- Please make sure you've read the rules carefully and checked the approved section before applying.
- If you're applying for more than one fanlisting, please use a separate form for each fanlisting you want.
- If the fanlisting you want fits into more than one category, please apply in both categories. This does not apply to certain categories, however. Please check the rules and category list pages for more information.
- Name, Email, HTML Example and subject are required fields. Your application will NOT go through unless you fill in these fields.
- Your HTML Example must be your own work. Applications submitted with a link to a website designed and built by someone else will be rejected.
- PLEASE NOTE: there is a limit on the number
of upcoming fanlistings an owner may have. If you have:
- 6 fanlistings upcoming in a category and/or
- 20 fanlistings upcoming at the network
the staffer has the right to reject your application out-right or until you complete some of your upcoming fanlistings..
If some of these are pending finished forms being processed, include the completed URLs in your application form.
Do not use more than one email address to apply for your fanlistings.
Specific Websites Rules
- What is not approved in this category:
- Personal websites, domains and/or blogs (apply in Webmasters for owners of these sites)
- Digital animation websites (apply in Animation)
- Webcomics websites (apply in Comics)
- General websites such as "cliques", "blogs", "domains" (apply in Computers/Internet/Appliances)
- Fanfiction related websites (apply in Fan Works)
- International versions of websites (Paypal.co.uk, Amazon.de, etc.)
- MSN Groups, Yahoo groups, Usenet groups or Livejournal communities
- You cannot build a fanlisting for a fanlisting unless it's part of or actually a fansite.
- Anime/Manga related fanlistings should be applied for at our sister network, The Anime Fanlistings.
- GettyImages.com is permanently NOT open for applications due to legal reasons.
- The field Your website (HTML Example) is meant for you to enter your own website, for me to see that you've got the HTML skills to actually build a fanlisting. Do not use this field for the subject you're applying for! ;) Note that this is a required field.
- In the More information section of the application form please put the URL of the website you're applying for. It would also be helpful if you could provide some information about the website the fanlisting is for, as some applications are for websites we've never heard of.
- The Comments Box in general does not need to be used. An example for its purpose would be if you suspected that you're listed with a number of fanlistings on upcoming that in fact are finished (but not yet processed). Please provide the links to any such fanlistings. :)
