Please make sure you've read the
rules carefully and checked the
approved section before applying.
If you're applying for more than one fanlisting, please use
a separate form for each fanlisting you want.
If the fanlisting you want fits into more than one category,
please apply in both categories. This does not apply to certain categories,
however. Please check the rules and
category list pages for more information.
Name, Email, HTML Example and subject are required fields.
Your application will NOT go through unless you fill in these fields.
Your HTML Example must be your own work. Applications
submitted with a link to a website designed and built by someone else will be
rejected.
PLEASE NOTE: there is a limit on the number
of upcoming fanlistings an owner may have. If you have:
- 6 fanlistings upcoming in a category and/or
- 20 fanlistings upcoming at the network
the staffer has the right to reject your application out-right or until you
complete some of your upcoming fanlistings..
If some of these are pending finished forms being processed, include the completed URLs in your application form.
Do not use more than one email address to apply for your fanlistings.
Specific Relationships: Book/Movie Rules
Relationships from games must be applied for under Games and relationships from anime/manga must be applied for at TheAnimeFanlistings. Relationships for animation must be applied for in Animation. Relationships from television mini-series must be applied for in Relationships: TV. Relationships from comics must be applied for in Comics.
Relationships between one single person and their multiple partners will not be accepted, for example Harry/Lovers.
Relationships for groupings such as families and all relationships of a book/movie are no longer accepted. You must list each individual involved in the relationship. For example, [+] All Relationships is not acceptable. They used to be, but have not been accepted for quite some time now.
The relationship you're applying for must exist in the actual book/movie - the people in the relationship must have had some interaction. Subjects that were approved prior to this are exempt, however should they be removed they will not be open for application. For example, Malfoy, Draco and Ginny Weasley would not be approved because they have not had any interaction in Harry Potter books.
As with all other categories, fanlistings for relationships from upcoming movies and books are not accepted. Please wait until the movie has been released/the book has been published.
Relationship fanlistings must be between person and person, person and animal, or person and controlling object (e.g., Frodo and The One Ring - Frodo's character is greatly changed in some instances by The One Ring's influence.) Fanlistings for something like Jack Sparrow and Rum will not be accepted.
Relationships for more than ten characters will not be accepted.
Relationships between one character's personalities are not accepted, for example Gollum and Smeagol. They are the same character.
REQUIRED: You must provide a link to information about the relationship in the more info box (no matter how well known the subjects are). Applications without this will be deleted. For relationships that aren't well known, it would also be helpful to provide some background information in the comments box, so that the validity can be verified.
Relationships from remakes will not be accepted. Your fanlisting must cover each version. Fanlistings approved before this rule went into effect will remain listed.
REQUIRED: Subject field: List the first person in the relationship, in the following format: Last Name, First Name
The rest should be listed with First Name Last Name (ie. Granger, Hermione and Harry Potter) (If there are more than two people in the relationship, put this: Granger, Hermione, Harry Potter and Ron Weasley)
Relationships from movies based on anime or manga must have made their debut in the movies or novels, not in the anime or manga. If the relationship originated in the anime or manga, it will not be listed here.
IMPORTANT!!! Fanlistings are to cover all aspects of the relationship - platonic, romantic, antagonistic, or family. You cannot apply for a fanlisting for a pairing/group as lovers, as rivals, or as friends. Your fanlisting MUST cover all aspects.
